Fohat Neyen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolf the free kick. Somayina Cartagena hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Eliseu Teixeira made a great header on Wolf's corner, it was just that Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Oto Hierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Teixeira. When Fohat Neyen's Derek Neyens in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolf's goalie prevented a goal. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bueno in the 16th minute of play. Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froila Ramon in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Wolf's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Neyens came free, but Edmundo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Froila Ramon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes Fohat Neyen got a freekick which was hit by Froila Ramon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bueno in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froila Ramon in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Gomez in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oto Hierro saved Fohat Neyen from getting behind. After some careless play in the Wolf defense, Carlos Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Catarinense. The Wolf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Catarinense should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Fohat Neyen's Jesco Alaniz got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Oto Hierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Teixeira. With a little luck, Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro got control of the ball when Hortêncio Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Fohat Neyen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Fantini was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Fabrizio Cauli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Wolf's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bueno came free, but Edmundo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Fantini scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oto Hierro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Fantini in the 61st minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Oto Hierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oto Hierro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Bueno got free with Edmundo Catarinense in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Teixeira came free, but Oto Hierro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oto Hierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Teixeira in the 66th minute of the match. Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Fantini in the 67th minute of play. Elói Moraes took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oto Hierro. Oto Hierro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Fohat Neyen's Carlos Bueno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Derek Neyens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Amancio Burualla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Wolf from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Wolf booed when Fohat Neyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesco Alaniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Fantini came free, but Oto Hierro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Catarinense was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Fabrizio Cauli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabrizio Cauli really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 96th match minute, Wolf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Somayina Cartagena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Catarinense having to make a save. The Fohat Neyen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
