Garry Vercauteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Holz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanja Milenković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 13th minute of play. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Ole Orihuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanja Milenković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole Orihuela in the 17th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Vanja Milenković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Cupial during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Cupial to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Hugon Kornasiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Vercauteren. Bruly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugon Kornasiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wincenty Bierfass hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vanja Milenković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Orihuela in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Bruly's Ole Orihuela made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vanja Milenković was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeroen Van de Gaer got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeroen Van de Gaer to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Kornasiewicz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Slawomir Wojciechowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garry Vercauteren. Slawomir Wojciechowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Bruly's Garry Vercauteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Kornasiewicz in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Stuycken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Rode to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vanja Milenković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Holz was the one to do the kick off. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Hugon Kornasiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Vercauteren. Vanja Milenković made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Wojciechowski came free, but Garry Vercauteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Slawomir Wojciechowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Vercauteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes Bruly's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wincenty Bierfass who took care of the corner kick. Wincenty Bierfass made a great header on KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's corner, it was just that Bruly's Garry Vercauteren managed to reach the ball for a save. Bruly's Frederic Wuttemans got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garry Vercauteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Holz in the 80th minute of play. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruly's Ruben De Moor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vanja Milenković. That made the score 3-3 after 87 minutes of play. If Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben De Moor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Milenković having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vanja Milenković was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bruly's performance. The match ended with a win for Bruly.
