An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Abajas in the 27th minute of play forced Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bajenland getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Han Jun Ping hit a great ball. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Abajas in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Los Materos FC were awarded a corner. Horacio Abajas went to the cornerflag to take it. Aaron Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Mendebal was the one to do the kick off. Filomeno Mendebal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Hägg came out and tried to block the shot, but Filomeno Mendebal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Croti came free, but Lazaros Kabantais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bajenland's zone, Horacio Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Hägg came out of the goal and Horacio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Materos FC made a substitution. Braulio Milian replaced Eleuterio Rufio. Los Materos FC's Elias Furman was substituted for Horacio Abajas. Tincho Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Hägg having to make a save. Emil Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Emil Hägg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
