Davi Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Chesus in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Patay Juniors got a corner. Inter de Melão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Naelio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Norberto Naelio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Davi Valadares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Leo Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Valadares was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Ernesto Farias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho. Cayetano Francho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Leo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patay Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Chesus in the 19th minute of play. Patay Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Naelio in the 21st minute. Delfim Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Francho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Petri in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Petri in the 28th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Patay Juniors's Leo Chesus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Petri in the 37th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Prospero Petri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patay Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cedric Ceballos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davi Valadares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cedric Ceballos ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Davi Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Leo Chesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Davi Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Inter de Melão players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patay Juniors were winning 1-3.

In the 51st minute Edgard Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tobias Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Falcão Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Patay Juniors's Davi Valadares threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Chesus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leo Chesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davi Valadares came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Chesus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 60th minute. Cedric Ceballos struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Davi Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patay Juniors. Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when Inter de Melão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davi Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ledesma in the 68th minute of play. With his leg Davi Valadares managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Patay Juniors's Prospero Petri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dráuzio Mesquita's late challenge caught a Patay Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Dráuzio Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Davi Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Petri in the 80th minute. In the 82nd play minute Prospero Petri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Davi Valadares. 1-5. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güntekin Enginer in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Patay Juniors's Güntekin Enginer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Davi Valadares. That made the score 1-6 after 86 minutes of play. After 89 minutes of play, Patay Juniors's Edgard Ledesma made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Melão's zone, Edgard Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Valadares came out of the goal and Edgard Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patay Juniors played a much better game than Inter de Melão and deserved their victory. The Inter de Melão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
