When Deportivo Mukenio's Martin Budín in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruly's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mukenio's Jairo Aurre got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jullian Vranx in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Pierre Pogba in the 13th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes Bruly's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Hever who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Mircea Buciuceanu to score against Willy Van Linthout in Bruly's goal. 0-1 after 16 minutes. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Rius in the 24th minute of play. Ismael Gimenez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Fiedler in the 26th minute. Thys Mangelschot struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ismael Gimenez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruly. If Ramon Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Wesley Gressens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Gressens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Aurre came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alek Thys to maneuver through the defense. Mario Hever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Budín in the 44th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Martin Budín made a precise shot to the right of Willy Van Linthout. Bruly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Budín to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Martin Budín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Van Linthout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Budín got free with Willy Van Linthout in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Budín who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Willy Van Linthout when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Budín in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Van Linthout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jullian Vranx scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Gimenez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Willy Van Linthout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Javier Van Landschoot. In the 69th minute, Martin Budín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Rõõm kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Deportivo Mukenio's Mario Hever got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Mukenio's Willy Van Linthout threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Pierre Pogba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deportivo Mukenio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Hever in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Budín in the 82nd minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Budín in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willy Van Linthout saved Bruly from getting behind. When Bruly's Brend Schrevens in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Mukenio's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 played minutes Deportivo Mukenio got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Vidican. 93 minutes into the match, Bruly's Javier Van Landschoot broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jean-Pierre Pogba hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Mukenio eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
