Edgar Badia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Txomin in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Ruperto Txomin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Badia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edgar Badia made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fabio Hernando sent off a good shot on target. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Feria in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Txomin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Badia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Bela Herrero. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save PERSPOLIS from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Calamar Saavedra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Atletico Calamar Saavedra:s Bonifacio Naldo showed great skill when he stopped Honorio Carceles:s penalty. Bonifacio Naldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Carceles went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Honorio Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Quintero to strike the kick off in the second half. Bela Herrero took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Naldo. Bonifacio Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Feria got free with Bonifacio Naldo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Hernando in the 63rd minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Naldo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Emiliano Quintero sent off a good shot on target. PERSPOLIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Justin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Edgar Badia came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Fabio Hernando. But to his dismay, Fabio Hernando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 82 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Ganix came free, but Bonifacio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Hernando in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Hernando came free, but Edgar Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekialde Nadal in the 95th minute. PERSPOLIS were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorio Carceles took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Carceles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bonifacio Naldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
