Brend Schrevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cayetano Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Patay Juniors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carolo Ermengol hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Paul Fiedler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Francho was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Cayetano Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jullian Vranx, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cayetano Francho came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruly's Paul Fiedler. But to his dismay, Paul Fiedler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Brend Schrevens hit a great ball. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thys Mangelschot went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jullian Vranx in the 26th minute of play. The referee gave Bruly a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Javier Van Landschoot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thys Mangelschot in the 42nd minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Brend Schrevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brend Schrevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Fiedler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Bruly were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Petri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thys Mangelschot to maneuver through the defense. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brend Schrevens in the 54th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Ermengol. After 59 played minutes Javier Van Landschoot shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho to catch but Javier Van Landschoot was lucky. It became 0-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Leo Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Willy Van Linthout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Edgard Ledesma made a precise shot to the right of Willy Van Linthout. Bruly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. With his leg Cayetano Francho managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Bruly's Paul Fiedler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Fiedler didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Chesus in the 83rd minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Jullian Vranx from a close distance when the talented Cayetano Francho managed to make a qualified save. Patay Juniors's players were relieved. Jullian Vranx spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Patay Juniors's goal. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güntekin Enginer in the 89th minute of the match. Leo Chesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willy Van Linthout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Leo Chesus scored 2-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willy Van Linthout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cedric Ceballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
