The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Feria got free with Thomas Revheim in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Revheim made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Bela Herrero sent off a good shot on target. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Quintero's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Gard Bredesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. PERSPOLIS were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after POPODARA F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorio Carceles took the corner. In the 20th match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Gonza to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Quintero came free, but Thomas Revheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Feria. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Iniesta in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Emiliano Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Revheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bela Herrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Thomas Revheim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edgar Badia came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by POPODARA F.C's Gard Bredesen. But to his dismay, Gard Bredesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Facundo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Quintero in the 39th minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Gonza in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim got control of the ball when Facundo Feria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Feria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Quintero in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Revheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half POPODARA F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gard Bredesen made a kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Gard Bredesen from a close distance when the talented Edgar Badia managed to make a qualified save. PERSPOLIS's players were relieved. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Feria, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Constantino Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERSPOLIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in POPODARA F.C's zone, Emiliano Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Revheim came out of the goal and Emiliano Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Badia having to interfere. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Ekialde Nadal replaced Facundo Feria. PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix was substituted for Emiliano Quintero. Edgar Badia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save PERSPOLIS from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Revheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes POPODARA F.C got a freekick which was hit by İbrahima Diallo. Edgar Badia made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gard Bredesen sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Kristian Turøy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Badia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peter Lang hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. PERSPOLIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honorio Carceles in the 96th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Bela Herrero heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. POPODARA F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
