The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artan Topalovski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, one of Clube Sporting Navuo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Sporting Navuo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleiton Ribeiro to make the kick off. After 95 minutes of play, Deportivo Mukenio's Martin Budín made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Clube Sporting Navuo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Mukenio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
