Joel Gargollo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Iaki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gargollo ran back to his position shaking his head. BULFUT GALAXY CF's Benedicto Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gargollo in the 4th minute of play. Jose Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Jose Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, one of BULFUT GALAXY CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BULFUT GALAXY CF. 1-0 came in the 18th minute when Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Benedicto Iaki. Feo Cadorniga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Nunez Nahia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volker Ippig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Volker Ippig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ignacio Lertxun hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes BULFUT GALAXY CF got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Lertxun. After a defensive mix-up in BULFUT GALAXY CF's zone, Joel Gargollo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Iaki came out of the goal and Joel Gargollo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedicto Iaki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gargollo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gargollo in the 45th minute of play forced BULFUT GALAXY CF's goalkeeper Benedicto Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gargollo in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Atarrabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Joel Gargollo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BULFUT GALAXY CF's Benedicto Iaki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Obrero Barquisimeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Joel Gargollo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Iaki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Joel Gargollo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obrero Barquisimeto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Gonzalo Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cido Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benedicto Iaki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obrero Barquisimeto. A sloppy throw-in by Anacleto Egoitz in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Obrero Barquisimeto's Richie Vasaburu. Benedicto Iaki came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Obrero Barquisimeto's Cido Cardozo. But to his dismay, Cido Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 79th match minute, Obrero Barquisimeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Comillas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BULFUT GALAXY CF's Abelardo Seme got a free kick in the 80th minute. Benedicto Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Severino Bruna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, BULFUT GALAXY CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Nahia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Cido Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Cido Cardozo sped through BULFUT GALAXY CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedicto Iaki.
