After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Hulk Fenomeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Hernando came out of the goal and Hulk Fenomeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Skark in the 8th minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Skark in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Fenomeno came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 16th minute of play.
