Marius Stoian kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Răduț having to interfere.

The wind increased when Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein made the kick off in the second half. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Lidström in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Emanuel Pușcariu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC TraLaLa's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Pușcariu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Viklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Pușcariu in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Viklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute of the match FC TraLaLa got a corner. Polar Ice Caps's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Romeo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 75 minutes, Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polar Ice Caps and the FC TraLaLa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aristide Răduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Paul Romeo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ture Viklund. That made the score 0-1 in the 83 minute of play. If Sever Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Pușcariu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Pușcariu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, FC TraLaLa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pușcariu to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Răduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ture Viklund made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Paul Romeo sent off a good shot on target. FC TraLaLa were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Polar Ice Caps's much stronger midfield.
