In the 5th minute Elano Lobado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Deportivo Ortegano were awarded a corner. Manex Maja went to the cornerflag to take it. Manex Maja made a great header on Deportivo Ortegano's corner, it was just that Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun managed to reach the ball for a save. Silverio Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Vordenbäumen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Delmar Nesto's late challenge caught a Tasso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Nesto helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Waldir Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eustaquio Ondino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Waldir Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Ondino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Sequeira. When Deportivo Ortegano's Elano Lobado in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tasso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Ondino made a huge save. In the 26thth minute of the game Waldir Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ortegano's Eustaquio Ondino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tasso FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34thth minute of the game Ronald Vordenbäumen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tasso FC's Silverio Corderun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ronald Vordenbäumen sped through Tasso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silverio Corderun. Eustaquio Ondino came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano. But to his dismay, Waldir Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 40 minutes into the game, León Zambrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ortegano's zone, Severi Nybacka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Ondino came out of the goal and Severi Nybacka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Urbano struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eustaquio Ondino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Waldir Urbano made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Bartolome Villaseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Massa came free, but Silverio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Manex Maja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Sequeira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Waldir Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silverio Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Ronald Vordenbäumen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Ondino was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edmundo Arizabal hit a great ball. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Diego Antunes hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Socorro Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Socorro Chavez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Yago Lijo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tasso FC's Severi Nybacka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eustaquio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Fiúza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Eustaquio Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Fiúza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Fiúza in the 92nd minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Juca Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Juca Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Juca Tasso. Tasso FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
