In the 10thth minute of the game Juan-Francisco Saavedra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC TraLaLa's Aristide Răduț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristide Răduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ametz Pedraza in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Paul Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC TraLaLa's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Romeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC TraLaLa booed when Albir fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Paul Romeo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alonso Valdivia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Juan-Francisco Saavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Albir fc's Alonso Valdivia got control of the ball when Costin Mocanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Răduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Francisco Saavedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Derwin Comas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Răduț having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ametz Pedraza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ametz Pedraza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aristide Răduț made a huge save. A collision led to FC TraLaLa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sergiu Zăgănescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Anton Macovei got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Leandro Cayuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albir fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Cayuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Cayuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aristide Răduț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonso Valdivia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Pușcariu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Michel Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albir fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Paris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Albir fc players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
