In the 46th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Poremba to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Corderun came out of the goal and Markus Albäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Waldir Urbano made the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the game, Zoltán Tálas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tasso FC's Miguel Sequeira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ciriaco Hernando made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Waldir Urbano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Albäck in the 78th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lilo Stich charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lilo Stich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Lilo Stich. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Vänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Godholm didn't get a good kick on the ball.
