Klas Åström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sivert Sander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Björn Blomkvist, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stenman came free, but Eric Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Tingelholm hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Björn Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Magnusson in the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 minutes Polar Ice Caps's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thor Sjöberg who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Edvard Magnusson to score against Eric Fransson in Polar Ice Caps's goal. 1-1 after 25 minutes. Eric Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Sivert Sander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Björn Blomkvist. Sivert Sander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Björn Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 35 minutes, Lars Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karlsborg and the Polar Ice Caps players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Lars Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Klas Åström. 41 minutes into the game, Karlsborg's Joel Classon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Sivert Sander scored 3-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Blomkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Classon to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Polar Ice Caps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stellan Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Blomkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sivert Sander's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Sivert Sander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polar Ice Caps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Sander in the 72nd minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Björn Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Blomkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Sander in the 77th minute of the match. Pär Sandström hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Karlsborg defense, Jack Lundblad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Blomkvist. The Karlsborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Blomkvist should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from André Botvidsson in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karlsborg's Sune Nyberg. Ildefonso Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Björn Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Sander in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Polar Ice Caps fully deserved thier win.
