The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evelio Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Blomkvist having to interfere. Evelio Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Jacobo Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlsborg's Björn Blomkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fred Lund's late challenge caught a NUMBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Lund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Froylan in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Moise in the 17th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Björn Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Jacobo Magdaleno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Blomkvist. Karlsborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Magdaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villiam Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Froylan in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jacobo Magdaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Blomkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fred Lund hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Björn Blomkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Magdaleno's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Jacobo Magdaleno put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Björn Blomkvist. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Gaspar Haritzeder got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Thor Sjöberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. NUMBA's Ramiro Moise quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Karlsborg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NUMBA were winning 0-3.

Evelio Froylan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Björn Blomkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NUMBA. Jacobo Magdaleno might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Blomkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Magdaleno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute, Evelio Froylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NUMBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Thor Sjöberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes of play, NUMBA's Jacobo Magdaleno made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Blomkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Björn Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Magdaleno in the 69th minute of play. Björn Blomkvist came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by NUMBA's Jacobo Magdaleno. But to his dismay, Jacobo Magdaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Björn Blomkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacobo Magdaleno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 78 minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Åström to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over NUMBA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karlsborg throughout the match.
