But to his dismay, Titan Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Huang Yan Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Ricardo Edorta got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eendracht Vooruit's Mihai Encea got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goal looked a bit too open when Titan Palermo came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Jiang Zhen Sen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eendracht Vooruit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiang Zhen Sen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matteo Gillis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Wágner Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Ugutz having to make a save. Ezequiel Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Recife in the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Wágner Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Titan Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Wágner Recife took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ezequiel Ugutz to make any attempt to save it. Eendracht Vooruit made a substitution. Tommi Armentier replaced Wágner Recife. 76 minutes into the match, Tommi Armentier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ezequiel Ugutz, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Mihai Encea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Ugutz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. When Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. Titan Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. Qu Zhen Guang hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Encea got free with Ezequiel Ugutz in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
