After 3 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Best Castray was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 5 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Belo. 7 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Best Castray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Best Castray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Tipi Calderon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Belmiro in the 16th minute of play. Dante Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Dante Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, ARGIES's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Best Castray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Juan Pueblo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon. Tipi Calderon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Juan Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Lekberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kim Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to ARGIES getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Benigno Jatsu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Lekberg in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Best Castray saved ARGIES from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, ARGIES's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Best Castray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ARGIES's Alfonso Palos was substituted for Jonathan Ferrari. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Kaj Skager replaced Kim Lekberg. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARGIES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlando Inautzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico Los Andes's players had a chance to rest. Dante Montes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Kaj Skager struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Best Castray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Los Andes. Kaj Skager blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Castray having to make a save. Best Castray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Skager, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Orlando Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kaj Skager came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Skager couldn't finish the play. Best Castray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Skager went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Best Castray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the ARGIES players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Los Andes.
