Ni Tian Peng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Rogério Ceni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Guillermo Frank suffered a concussion in the 11th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fredrik Holden hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Herbert Pracki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ni Tian Peng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Herbert Pracki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Tian Peng was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elija Maiz in the 20th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Herbert Pracki got a free kick in the 20th minute. Estebano Lecanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. After 25 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Hartz. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Cumhur Günay got a free kick in the 27th minute. Herbert Pracki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ni Tian Peng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toma Merlushkin got free with Rogério Ceni in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Jago. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estebano Lecanda to make the kick off. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aldo Franco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Aldo Franco got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Pracki in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ni Tian Peng saved El Pinar from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Eulalio Jago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ni Tian Peng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Pracki in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ni Tian Peng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cumhur Günay struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ni Tian Peng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano LOS PIRATAS. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Steve Harris hit a great ball. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS played a much better game than El Pinar and deserved their victory. The El Pinar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
