Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Leslie started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Toronto United's Moses Stratton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aleksander Smefeldt. Aleksander Smefeldt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Rolf Leslie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Smefeldt, 2-0. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Laframboise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Toronto United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Short didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Toronto United's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Hernström came free, but William Nance reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Svanberg scored 2-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Nance, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Gunnar Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Nance was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 28th minute, Moses Stratton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Laframboise in the 30th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Gustav Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a little luck, Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt got control of the ball when Moses Stratton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnar Björnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. William Nance tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Hernström made a kick off. When Philip Tunberg fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Philip Tunberg a yellow card for diving instead. Wilhelm Nordlund's late challenge caught a Toronto United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Nordlund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wilhelm Nordlund hit a great ball. Aleksander Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfred Varela in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Ramiro Peterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toronto United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bloodthirsty FC the free kick. After 76 played minutes Toronto United got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Peterson. After some careless play in the Toronto United defense, Sten Hernström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Nance. The Toronto United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Nance should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Toronto United's Rolf Leslie got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Winfred Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Törnqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Toronto United booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position.
