The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mambru Fontoya the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Marabino protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mambru Fontoya had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ibon Toraño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Zăgănescu went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arixo Aponte in the 7th minute of play. Anton Macovei hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Tadzio Hevia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Marabino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC TraLaLa the free kick. After 11 played minutes Real Marabino got a freekick which was hit by Tadzio Hevia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corneliu Bungescu got free with Ibon Toraño in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Marabino's Ibon Toraño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Real Marabino from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Abreu came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobby Abreu scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcu Tărbac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergiu Zăgănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Tadzio Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Comarnescu in the 30th minute of play forced Real Marabino's goalkeeper Ibon Toraño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arixo Aponte in the 31st minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ibon Toraño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Bungescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibon Toraño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Bungescu in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Comarnescu came free, but Ibon Toraño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Emanuel Pușcariu sped through Real Marabino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ibon Toraño. Arixo Aponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Babe Ruth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibon Toraño acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sergiu Zăgănescu. After 47 played minutes Real Marabino got a freekick which was hit by Gumaro Mirafuentes. Ibon Toraño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mavrogheni in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arixo Aponte to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gumaro Mirafuentes in the 56th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Emanuel Pușcariu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ibon Toraño. Real Marabino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Pușcariu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Stanislav Wawrinka's late challenge caught a FC TraLaLa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislav Wawrinka helped the player get up and apologised. Stanislav Wawrinka hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sergiu Zăgănescu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ibon Toraño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC TraLaLa. In the 64th minute, FC TraLaLa's Sergiu Zăgănescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sergiu Zăgănescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC TraLaLa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Marcu Tărbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babe Ruth in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Real Marabino's Babe Ruth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcu Tărbac. Marcu Tărbac yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Marcu Tărbac made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gumaro Mirafuentes in the 71st minute. With his leg Marcu Tărbac managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Real Marabino's Bobby Abreu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arixo Aponte kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sorin Comarnescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ibon Toraño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bobby Abreu hit a great ball. Costin Mocanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ibon Toraño. Real Marabino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Real Marabino's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC TraLaLa had won, even though Real Marabino had held more of the ball.
