After having played for 4 minutes, Gösta Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Pihlblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Carlsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Guto Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Smefeldt came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio NG's Guto Queiroz. But to his dismay, Guto Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Sten Hernström fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Sten Hernström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Hernström to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Gösta Pihlblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovanni dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wesley Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Hernström in the 52nd minute of play. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Giovanni dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Smefeldt, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Aguiar got free with Aleksander Smefeldt in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes, Gustav Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bloodthirsty FC and the Gremio NG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Gösta Pihlblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Cardoso came out of the goal and Gösta Pihlblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Anderson Toscano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anderson Toscano hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Gunnar Björnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Giovanni dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Smefeldt, 0-4. Gremio NG's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
