After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Dino Montejo got a free kick in the 37th minute. Constantin Fința charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Fința the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Marabino booed when A4p Dejani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Fința didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leontin Răuțchi to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Popic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gumaro Mirafuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Popic having to interfere. In the 84th minute Arixo Aponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Popic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mircea Popic made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gumaro Mirafuentes sent off a good shot on target. Ibon Toraño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Fința, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Constantin Fința notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Real Marabino's Ibon Toraño. Ibon Toraño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
