Guto Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Francesco Terrazos made a huge save. Ugutz Munet charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ugutz Munet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gremio NG booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Giovanni dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Jacinto Pamanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute Jacinto Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jacinto Pamanes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Cardoso. Wesley Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Pamanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Wesley Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Pamanes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Pamanes to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Pamanes in the 58th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Wesley Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Ortegano's Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia was substituted for Sotero Besga. Wesley Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Pamanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Gremio NG's Wesley Cardoso got control of the ball when Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Ortegano's Jacinto Pamanes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jacinto Pamanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Pamanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia got free with Wesley Cardoso in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guto Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Cesario Valensuela got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia got free with Wesley Cardoso in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd match minute, Gremio NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Sesuldo Vellon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Cardoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Alan Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Sesuldo Vellon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Cardoso skillfully saved the ball. Francesco Terrazos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni dos Santos in the 95th minute of the match. Deportivo Ortegano played a much better game than Gremio NG and deserved their victory. The Gremio NG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
