Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrik Brander started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto United's zone, Gösta Pihlblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Nance came out of the goal and Gösta Pihlblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 10 minutes into the game, Henrik Brander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of William Nance. Henrik Brander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kristian Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Toronto United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Short to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Jernberg lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bloodthirsty FC! Johan Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Toronto United's Hayden Laframboise got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Henrik Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Brander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Nance breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hayden Laframboise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Norberto Carey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toronto United's Winfred Varela was substituted for Moses Stratton. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kristian Nordström hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Rolf Leslie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Henrik Brander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto United's William Nance was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Marc Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bloodthirsty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Lindgren couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Johan Flink. Brady Erickson got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo-Erik Nilsson during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Nilsson. In the 89th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
