The supporters of NUMBA booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daron Keen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Bernardo Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Keen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Daron Keen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Fabio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Caio da Rocha came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Quinten came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Qikiqtarjuaq FC defense, Bernardo Quinten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bueno. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Bueno should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Sadurni got free with Abel Bueno in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno got control of the ball when Fabio Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the NUMBA defense, Daron Keen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Ruy. The NUMBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Ruy should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Daron Keen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Ruy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alfonzo Davidson was substituted for Gary Thomason. Justo Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 46th minute of the match. Caio da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Justo Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. After the first half Qikiqtarjuaq FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Sadurni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. NUMBA's Justo Ruy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save NUMBA from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the game, Caio da Rocha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Ruy. Caio da Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Justo Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio da Rocha in the 63rd minute. A collision led to NUMBA getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Adan Lauro hit a great ball. After 66 minutes NUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daron Keen who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Quinten in the 67th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justo Ruy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 minutes, Daniel Aztore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NUMBA and the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the game, one of NUMBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justo Ruy. Justo Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio da Rocha in the 89th minute. Caio da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Justo Ruy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caio da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Justo Ruy made a huge save. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
