TRIPITI FC's Ilias Lianis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Skark in the 19th minute of play. Charalambos Dimidis took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Hernando. Ciriaco Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Vänge IF booed when TRIPITI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestoras Karatzakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Albäck in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilias Lianis saved TRIPITI FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute Markus Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Lianis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by TRIPITI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lilo Stich was slow to take the kick. During this time Vänge IF's players had a chance to rest. Ilias Lianis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Skark's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malcolm Skark in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilias Lianis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, TRIPITI FC's Paschalis Pagakis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paschalis Pagakis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TRIPITI FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paschalis Pagakis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. TRIPITI FC:s Ilias Lianis showed great skill when he stopped Lilo Stich:s penalty. 69 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Markus Albäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilias Lianis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
