The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Nytäppet Fc booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Trombatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Anfilogino Trombatore sent off a good shot on target. Dušan Vlahović was slow to take the kick. During this time Nytäppet Fc's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Nytäppet Fc's corner Dave Lombardo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Casillas quite easily take care of the ball. Iker Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Vlahović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xande Solitario in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Fabrizio Canzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dušan Vlahović in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Casillas saved Villa Gordiani from getting behind. When Fabrizio Canzano fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Gordiani's protests and gave Fabrizio Canzano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nytäppet Fc booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Canzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xande Solitario to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Trombatore couldn't finish the play. Otang Irawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sture Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Xande Solitario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iker Casillas. Xande Solitario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Linus Blomqvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Iker Casillas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dušan Vlahović. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Ciro Esposito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Gordiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nytäppet Fc the free kick. They were angered to see Villa Gordiani lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
