Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Schorsch Schmalzbauer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fábio Pinheiro. Schorsch Schmalzbauer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Di Xing Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Fonseca in the 20th minute of play. Fábio Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Celsinho Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio NG's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Di Xing Yu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Schorsch Schmalzbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vänge IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Schorsch Schmalzbauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Fonseca's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vänge IF booed when Gremio NG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fábio Pinheiro stood somewhat misplaced when Mauro Otsoa came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mauro Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vänge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Otsoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Schorsch Schmalzbauer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Mauro Otsoa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Pinheiro. Fábio Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Lilo Stich charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lilo Stich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lilo Stich hit a great ball. Arnold Stark hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Vänge IF got a corner. Gremio NG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Schorsch Schmalzbauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 65 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Schorsch Schmalzbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vänge IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Schorsch Schmalzbauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Gremio NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Schorsch Schmalzbauer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Schorsch Schmalzbauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Schorsch Schmalzbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pinheiro having to interfere. Schorsch Schmalzbauer got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fábio Pinheiro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Lima in the 90th minute of play. Di Xing Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Vänge IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
