Michael Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fábio Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Fábio Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fábio Pinheiro stood somewhat misplaced when Caio da Rocha came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. The supporters of Gremio NG booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Quinton Marcheterre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Gremio NG's Dino do Vale made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Owen in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Pinheiro saved Gremio NG from getting behind. After 21 minutes Gremio NG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daron Keen who took care of the corner kick. Caio da Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio da Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Renatinho Oliveira hit a great ball. A very good chance for a goal. Fábio Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caio da Rocha. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Caio da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 55th minute Caio da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Fábio Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. When Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 62nd minute of the match. Silvério Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Silvério Diniz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio da Rocha in the 65th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renatinho Oliveira made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giovanni Fonseca. 68 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Fonseca. The supporters of Gremio NG booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chong Sheppard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Raimundo Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Bueno skillfully saved the ball. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio da Rocha in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Caio da Rocha came free, but Fábio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio da Rocha took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Pinheiro. Fábio Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Fábio Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gremio NG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daron Keen was slow to take the kick. During this time Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Caio da Rocha heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 94 minutes, Caio da Rocha made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
