Luiz Fabiano Abraão struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Toninho Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAZER SAF. After 8 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Passos. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nilmar Freitas hit a great ball. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Yuri Alberto made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Toninho Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho da Silveira in the 28th minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Igor Coronado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Alberto came free, but Toninho Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Alberto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Erasmo Mesquita got a free kick in the 47th minute. Félix Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Félix Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Félix Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Igor Coronado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Alberto in the 53rd minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Alberto came free, but Toninho Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho da Silveira in the 54th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Toninho Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF's Gernando Vianna was substituted for Erasmo Mesquita. MAZER SAF's Adriano Rosa was substituted for Jarbas Borges. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Celsinho da Silveira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Bernardinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Coronado went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in DENVER™'s zone, Bernardinho Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Pinheiro came out of the goal and Bernardinho Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Yuri Alberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toninho Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Abraão in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the DENVER™ defense, Yuri Alberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. The DENVER™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Gernando Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Bernardinho Cunha took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. There was no doubt that MAZER SAF were the better team. MAZER SAF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
