Wanderson Passos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Marcos Ramalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toninho Pinheiro, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Velasco in the 26th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Ali Picavea in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Abud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gláuber Brodel was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Abud didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Guilherme Abud made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Caca-Rato during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, DENVER™'s Conrado Paraibano tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Ali Picavea in the 63rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gláuber Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Hélder Velasco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Soeiro was substituted for Kaká Sampaio. In the 93rd minute, Toninho Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
