The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niculae Bărbulescu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rei Duarte hit a great ball. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Pádua in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gheorghe Albescu hit a great ball. King Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Răduț in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Alex Răduț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alex Răduț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Emanuel Miguéis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Bogătan having to interfere. Silviu Bogătan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Campos in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Alex Răduț recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of King Duarte. Alex Răduț showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Silviu Bogătan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Miguéis in the 40th minute of the match. Emanuel Miguéis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Miguéis took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviu Bogătan. Silviu Bogătan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alcides Soares was substituted for Virgílio Anjos. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Miguéis made the kick off in the second half. Alex Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alexandrino Severiano's late challenge caught a Unicorns ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandrino Severiano helped the player get up and apologised. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alexandre Veríssimo was substituted for Teófilo Pádua. Emanuel Miguéis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 59th playminute. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Don Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Bogătan. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Bogătan should have stopped the shot. Silviu Bogătan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Miguéis in the 70th minute. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's King Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Albescu in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Horácio Carrasqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unicorns ™ the free kick. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Veríssimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Bogătan having to interfere. Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Miguéis 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. With his leg Silviu Bogătan managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alexandrino Severiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Silviu Bogătan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
