The 1948 MKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Rigan Frankson could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Fernando Selatse however easily saved by the left post. After 21 minutes 1948 MKS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Lucila who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, 1948 MKS's Fernando Selatse threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rigan Frankson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Torrey Molloy came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Selatse could save by the left post. 1948 MKS's Rolan McLian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernando Selatse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Çakabey Sirer sent off a good shot on target. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Lukas made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnold McDecland. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torrey Molloy was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, 1948 MKS's Çakabey Sirer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Selatse was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Çakabey Sirer. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Arturo Arano. 58 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Çakabey Sirer came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beagan Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 60th minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Toro Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute Pastor Tino suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 75 minutes into the game, Fábio Salgueiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1948 MKS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. Despidida AFC's Cain Velasquez was substituted for Pastor Tino. 78 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Frankson came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Justino Elequemedo in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 82nd minute of play. If Emiliano Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cain Velasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
