Korn's Juan Sendoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save A. Korn from getting a goal against them. Håkan Šuker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Juan Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goalkeeper Juan Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Šuker. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Cosa Nostra.
