Korn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Gonçalo Varela scored to the left of an out of position Juan Sendoa, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Cirilo Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. Korn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Varela in the 11th minute of play. Cirilo Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gualter Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cirilo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Fernando Couto in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz. The supporters of KINDERUZ booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Sendoa was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Gonçalo Varela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonçalo Varela really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Cirilo Urki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KINDERUZ's Gualter Carmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A. Korn's Nacho Fernández managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernando Couto in the 24 minute of the game. If Cirilo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Gilberto Frasco got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The throw-in from Fernando Couto in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A. Korn's Sven-Ove Engström. In the 37th minute, Porfírio Madruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Carmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cruz in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, KINDERUZ's Gonçalo Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Porfírio Madruga got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonçalo Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandrino Caldas in the 51st minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Juan Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gualter Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Urki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Gualter Carmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 58th minute of the match A. Korn got a corner. KINDERUZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nacho Fernández ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A. Korn's Isidoro Medero to fire away a dangerous shot which Gualter Carmo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Pacheco's late challenge caught a A. Korn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. Cirilo Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Carmo having to interfere. If Cirilo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Juan Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Couto made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gonçalo Varela however managed to control. Juan Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Varela in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cirilo Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. A. Korn's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Carmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacho Fernández's late challenge caught a KINDERUZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nacho Fernández helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, A. Korn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Fernández to maneuver through the defense. When Carlos Pacheco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Cirilo Urkis short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Gualter Carmo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
