Karol Biskupiak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Justo Ruy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 4 minutes into the game, Wincent Polkoski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NUMBA the free kick. In the 4th minute, Wincent Polkoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jacobo Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the NUMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Ömür Seyfeddin could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Justo Ruy however easily saved by the left post. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, NUMBA's Justo Ruy got control of the ball when Ömür Seyfeddin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czeslaw Kossakowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ömür Seyfeddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Justo Ruy made a huge save. Otto Albergs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Justo Ruy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Alberg came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st play minute Otto Alberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Justo Ruy. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 44th minute of play forced NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, NUMBA's Jacobo Magdaleno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludomir Cuber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ömür Seyfeddin to strike the kick off in the second half. Justo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Kossakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Justo Ruy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Alberg's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Justo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömür Seyfeddin in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. NUMBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laureano Guipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Biskupiak came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömür Seyfeddin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Ruy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the NUMBA defense, Ömür Seyfeddin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Ruy. The NUMBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Ruy should have stopped the shot. Czeslaw Kossakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Biskupiak came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Karol Biskupiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Ruy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ludomir Cuber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Alberg during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Otto Alberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
