Korn booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Jano Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Urki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Andreas Lips made a huge save. Kléberson Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match Cirilo Urki climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Andreas Lips. Jano Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agostinho Salgado during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Salgado. In the 28th minute Jano Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes in the game Davi Camargo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kléberson Romero. Montevideo's Andreas Lips played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Urki in the 35th minute of play. Davi Camargo made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz. Cirilo Urki came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andreas Lips could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Urki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andreas Lips. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Romero to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andreas Lips tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Arthur Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. Korn the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Trigo to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Maidana during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Sendoa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Celsinho de Almeida. Juan Sendoa came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo's Leandro Brito. But to his dismay, Leandro Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jano Cavalcante hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play Montevideo's Agostinho Salgado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Cruz came free, but Andreas Lips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kléberson Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Juan Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Lips made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Urki in the 82nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Davi Camargo in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz. In the 84th minute, Nacho Fernández left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A. Korn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 88 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Urki came free, but Andreas Lips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Urki in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Lips saved Montevideo from getting behind. After 92 minutes of play, Montevideo's Jano Cavalcante made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes in the game Davi Camargo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leandro Brito. Jano Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Sendoa having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A. Korn fully deserved thier win.
