Håkan Šuker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Biagio Pelliccia made a huge save. La Cosa Nostra's Sonny Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Terrasi in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Castellani in the 6th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Šuker got free with Biagio Pelliccia in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Håkan Šuker fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Biagio Pelliccia. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Håkan Šuker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Biagio Pelliccia made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Håkan Šuker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Šuker in the 18th minute of play forced PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Biagio Pelliccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Cosa Nostra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans Bergfelt in the 19th minute. The corner led La Cosa Nostra's Elias Millrick to fire away a dangerous shot which Biagio Pelliccia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Biagio Pelliccia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Šuker. La Cosa Nostra's Ricardo Araújo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frank Ciraci in the 24 minute of the game. Biagio Pelliccia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Di Berardino in the 29th minute of play. PowerHawKings's Biagio Pelliccia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save PowerHawKings from getting a goal against them. Håkan Šuker struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Biagio Pelliccia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cosa Nostra. In the 39th minute, La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Biagio Pelliccia. Biagio Pelliccia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Biagio Pelliccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Boran Tekinalp in the 41st minute of the match. Håkan Šuker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Biagio Pelliccia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Šuker in the 43rd minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Šuker to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Håkan Šuker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Pelliccia. PowerHawKings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Šuker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hans Bergfelt, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 65th minute of the match La Cosa Nostra got a corner. PowerHawKings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Bergfelt ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Cosa Nostra's corner Hans Bergfelt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Biagio Pelliccia quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Håkan Šuker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Pelliccia was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. La Cosa Nostra's Elias Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 72 minutes on the clock, Alfonso Santoro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd match minute, PowerHawKings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Santoro to maneuver through the defense. Hans Bergfelt struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, La Cosa Nostra's Sonny Alén got control of the ball when Alvise Di Berardino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Pelliccia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Šuker in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Pelliccia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 minutes, Håkan Šuker made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. PowerHawKings's Biagio Pelliccia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Elias Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Pelliccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Pelliccia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Šuker went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Cosa Nostra had played much better football throughout.
