The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 7th minute. KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 19th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Turok came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Turok went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Biskupiak in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Trac made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Wincent Polkoski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Neuer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ömür Seyfeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, KINDERUZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Alves to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Trac, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. António Bandeira hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Carlos Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Cuber having to interfere. Manuel Neuer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
