Damian Trac started the match with the kick off. Karol Biskupiak struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Juan Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Urki in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goalkeeper Juan Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Trac. 13 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wincent Polkoski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Sendoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Damian Trac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ömür Seyfeddin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan Sendoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edmund Adelsköld made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karol Biskupiak. In the 24th minute, Karol Biskupiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Sendoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edmund Adelsköld hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cirilo Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Nacho Fernández. A collision led to Zagłębie Dąbrowskie getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Damian Trac hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Trac in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Sendoa saved A. Korn from getting behind. After 46 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Celino.

51 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Trac came free, but Juan Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugenio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Trac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sendoa having to interfere. If Damian Trac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the game, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Juan Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Trac in the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Damian Trac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Sendoa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Urki got free with Marian Chilavert in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Gilberto Frasco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Czeslaw Kossakowski was substituted for Damazy Turok. Damian Trac's late challenge caught a A. Korn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Trac helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Damian Trac got a free kick in the 87th minute. A. Korn's Juan Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Trac in the 89th minute of play. Juan Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Trac in the 91st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's corner Laureano Guipuzkoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Sendoa quite easily take care of the ball. Marian Chilavert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Urki in the 93rd minute. Marian Chilavert was a little too slow when Cirilo Urki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans cheered their team off the field, for while A. Korn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
