Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Håkan Šuker got the match started through his kick off. Emiliano Cesaroni's late challenge caught a La Cosa Nostra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Cesaroni helped the player get up and apologised. La Cosa Nostra's Maurício Mansilha was substituted for Elias Millrick. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when PowerHawKings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Cesaroni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Šuker scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edoardo Proietti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Cesaroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Alén having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Maurício Mansilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Proietti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Šuker in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edoardo Proietti saved PowerHawKings from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Håkan Šuker made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Proietti. PowerHawKings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Edoardo Proietti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Håkan Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cosa Nostra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Šuker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Maurício Mansilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PowerHawKings's Edoardo Proietti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by PowerHawKings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hans Bergfelt was slow to take the kick. During this time La Cosa Nostra's players had a chance to rest. Hans Bergfelt made a great header on La Cosa Nostra's corner, it was just that PowerHawKings's Edoardo Proietti managed to reach the ball for a save. 25 minutes into the match, PowerHawKings's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Šuker came free, but Edoardo Proietti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Carlo Nicolo in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Cosa Nostra's Hans Bergfelt. 59 minutes into the game, Håkan Šuker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edoardo Proietti. Håkan Šuker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in La Cosa Nostra's zone, Gerry Scotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Alén came out of the goal and Gerry Scotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Cosa Nostra's Gustavo Severiano was substituted for Jerónimo Avelar. In the 72nd minute, La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edoardo Proietti. Edoardo Proietti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Edoardo Proietti was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Håkan Šuker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Šuker really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Håkan Šuker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edoardo Proietti. That made the score 0-10 in the 78 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Di Berardino in the 84th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Šuker succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. In the 88th minute Maurício Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Proietti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Håkan Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edoardo Proietti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Šuker in the 95th minute of play. The La Cosa Nostra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Cosa Nostra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
