Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Bo Rosen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Karlsson in the 6th minute of play forced Sovetice's goalkeeper Josef Pražák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When František Petráš fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sovetice's protests and gave František Petráš a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Sovetice got a freekick which was hit by František Petráš. When Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sovetice's goalie prevented a goal. Bo Rosen made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Walter Schubert sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute of the match Erik Ekeroth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josef Pražák showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Milan Zika mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sovetice and the Blue Mountain Goats players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sovetice's Milan Zika got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Holm in the 21st minute of play forced Sovetice's goalkeeper Josef Pražák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Josef Pražák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sovetice's Josef Pražák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Björling in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Holm in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Pražák saved Sovetice from getting behind. Vincent Blom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josef Pražák having to make a save. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sovetice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evert Holm was slow to take the kick. During this time Blue Mountain Goats's players had a chance to rest. After 41 minutes, Evert Holm made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sovetice's Josef Pražák tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Petr Kratěna made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Evert Holm sped through Sovetice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Josef Pražák. Börge Karlsson succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 59 minutes into the game, Evert Holm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josef Pražák. Evert Holm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Evert Holm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Josef Pražák when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Åke Lundblad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef Pražák read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Milan Zika hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain Goats's Börge Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josef Pražák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Evert Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Pražák having to interfere. Blue Mountain Goats's Bo Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Schubert in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 73 in the game by Evert Holm from a close distance when the talented Josef Pražák managed to make a qualified save. Sovetice's players were relieved. Josef Pražák came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm. But to his dismay, Evert Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 82nd match minute, Sovetice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petr Kratěna to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sovetice's zone, Karl-Åke Lundblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Pražák came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Lundblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Blue Mountain Goats fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vincent Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Josef Pražák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blue Mountain Goats eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
