The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Rahim Sidam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polar Ice Caps's Ture Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergincan Türköz in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, HORIZZONT's Naim Gencal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rahim Sidam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ture Viklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's André Botvidsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Georg Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Rahim Sidam came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the HORIZZONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Sidam couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Sidam in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Viklund saved Polar Ice Caps from getting behind. HORIZZONT's Yuan Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Nyberg in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, Stellan Sellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuan Ying. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuan Ying should have stopped the shot. Rahim Sidam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ralf Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Yuan Ying made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ralf Nyberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Sidam in the 56th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ture Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Polar Ice Caps's Stellan Sellberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuan Ying. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, HORIZZONT's Kasım Sahadettin got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Rahim Sidam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Botvidsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ture Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Sidam in the 86th minute of play. Ergincan Türköz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rahim Sidam fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Rahim Sidam a yellow card for diving instead. Georg Borre charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georg Borre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Georg Borre. Polar Ice Caps's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
