After the first half PowerHawKings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Åström to make the kick off. PowerHawKings's Filippo Falasca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Åström in the 53rd minute of play. Filippo Falasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Tharaldsen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Elias Tharaldsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Mayonnaise's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Tharaldsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The PowerHawKings players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
