Christian Passos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Engström came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Passos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Laerte Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Laerte Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Matorin in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Laerte Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laerte Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Ivar Joensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STHLM södra and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivar Joensson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Laerte Lucas made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. STHLM södra's Dan Engström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in STHLM södra's zone, Wilson Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Engström came out of the goal and Wilson Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, STHLM södra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for STHLM södra! In the 44th minute, Laerte Lucas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 44th minute, Laerte Lucas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dan Engström. The goal made the score 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laerte Lucas made a kick off. Dan Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Laerte Lucas sped through STHLM södra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Engström. Olavo Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dan Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Laerte Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernandão Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Olavo Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When Montevideo's Laerte Lucas in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dan Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Dan Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Matorin went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Montevideo were the better team. Montevideo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
