Mitch Dekens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein made a huge save. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mitch Dekens sped through C.A.River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein. Mitch Dekens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein having to make a save. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitch Dekens in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Waffem Fc were awarded a corner. Mehmet Halis İley went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Sten Nordin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 31 minutes into the match, Waffem Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Perrando Osaviaga came free, but Aaron Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, C.A.River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Nordin came free, but Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waffem Fc's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talha Özakan in the 35th minute of play. Aaron Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talha Özakan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitch Dekens got free with Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Waffem Fc's Nicanor Bazil was substituted for Leonardo Acosta. Waffem Fc's Nestor Claris was substituted for Adolfo Montes. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitch Dekens made a kick off. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mitch Dekens sped through C.A.River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein. When Perrando Osaviaga came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.A.River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perrando Osaviaga couldn't finish the play. Talha Özakan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sten Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waffem Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
