Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Sanches in the 5th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Alves. 9 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas de Amaral came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, S. E. Palestra's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Alves came free, but Gláuber Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho do Valle in the 18th minute of play forced S. E. Palestra's goalkeeper Gláuber Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Alves in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Wiliam Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gláuber Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho do Valle in the 31st minute of the match. Turabi Paksan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bem Bolado getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Diego Faria hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Pereira came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Sanches in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, S. E. Palestra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Freire to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Sanches in the 40th minute of the match. Gláuber Ramalho came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Bem Bolado's Marcel Sanches. But to his dismay, Marcel Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gláuber Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Marcelinho do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bem Bolado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Bem Bolado were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Ramalho having to interfere. After 52 minutes, Wiliam Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S. E. Palestra and the Bem Bolado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Wiliam Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Turabi Paksan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gláuber Ramalho. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Turabi Paksan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Bem Bolado's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Betão Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S. E. Palestra's protests and gave Betão Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Betão Vaz hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, S. E. Palestra's Betão Vaz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Francisco Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Ramalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Marcel Sanches made a great header on Bem Bolado's corner, it was just that S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to S. E. Palestra getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wiliam Viana hit a great ball. If Marcelinho do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Sanches in the 74th minute of play. Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turabi Paksan in the 76th minute of play. Marcelinho do Valles short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Gláuber Ramalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber Ramalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. Naldo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Marcel Sanches saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Gláuber Ramalho came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Bem Bolado's Marcelinho do Valle. But to his dismay, Marcelinho do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. William Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Ramalho having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Pereira came free, but José Maria Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bem Bolado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
