Toninho Pereira started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Belisca Xana Sport Club ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Kompany to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes S. E. Palestra got a freekick which was hit by Betão Vaz. Lara Guadalupi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rusi Moskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Araya in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes S. E. Palestra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Dias who took care of the corner kick. Christiano Moreno's late challenge caught a S. E. Palestra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. When Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Celso Vander in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S. E. Palestra's goalie prevented a goal. S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Vander in the 31st minute of play. If Jorge Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Araya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gláuber Ramalho having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, S. E. Palestra's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Araya came free, but Gláuber Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Tom Araya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gláuber Ramalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gláuber Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho de Barros went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in S. E. Palestra's zone, Jorge Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Ramalho came out of the goal and Jorge Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rusi Moskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gláuber Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Jorge Dias sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, Rusi Moskal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiliam Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jorge Dias shot from long distance in the 58th minute, but Gláuber Ramalho was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. S. E. Palestra's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Celso Vander 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. If Tom Araya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Javier Loco was substituted for Celso Vander. Javier Loco took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gláuber Ramalho. Gláuber Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Loco in the 69th minute of play forced S. E. Palestra's goalkeeper Gláuber Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Rusi Moskal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gláuber Ramalho, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Javier Loco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gláuber Ramalho. That made the score 0-6 after 76 minutes of play. Gláuber Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Loco in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Javier Loco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gláuber Ramalho. That made the score 0-8 after 91 minutes of play. Rusi Moskal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Belisca Xana Sport Club ® could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S. E. Palestra throughout the match.
